Clone Robotics is a bootstrapped Polish company pursuing the most radical architectural departure in humanoid robotics: a musculoskeletal design with fluid-powered artificial muscles (Myofibers) replicating human anatomical structure with 206 degrees of freedom. Though far from commercial deployment, Clone has attracted a global community of robotics researchers and engineers drawn to its open development philosophy. If Myofiber technology can be manufactured at scale, it represents a fundamentally different cost and capability curve than conventional motor-gearbox designs.
